Mr. Duncan passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, at his residence.
The son of the late Andrew Cole and Eugenia Barroll Duncan, he was a native of Greenwich, Conn., retired from the U.S. Air Force and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Duncan of Fayetteville; sons Andrew Duncan II of Hollywood, Fla., Christopher Duncan of Edina, Minn., and James Duncan of Gallatin, Tenn; stepsons Todd Harter of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Erick Harter of Monticello, Fla.; sister Ann Laredo, Southbury Conn.; brother Donald Duncan of Robesonia; six grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 N. Elk Ave., Fayetteville, TN 37334 or Russell Hill Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 18428, Huntsville, AL 35804.

I am really great that you have this page for Grandad. I wish everyone could have known what a great man he was, but by searching his name, I found he must have been important to a lot of people. I will miss him so much. I love you!
