Barry Gable Obituary

Barry Gable, 85 from Blandon, passed away the morning of September 28th in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of pre-deceased loving wife, Anna May. He is survived by his daughter Sue Emerich (Mike) son Michael Gable, daughter Patty Lynch (Kevin) and Deb Rutter (Tim). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Brian, Matt, Bridget, Sydney, Ryan (Gabi) and Tricia. Barry loved gardening, he had many successful ones over the years. It brought him joy to share his harvests. Barry's peaceful place was on a lake, fishing with his family and storytelling of trips past. Barry was happiest when spending time with his kids, sharing dinners and trips to the Casinos, Farm Markets and Orchards. Barry's motto, passed along from its originator Anna May, was to have a Happy Day and when possible, help others to have one too. Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. www.henningerfuneralhome.com

We enjoyed Barry's company and knowledge on Fridays at the Reading Fairgrounds market. So sorry to hear of his passing but now he is with his beloved Anna May whom he spoke often of and his children and grandchildren. They were all the loves of his life. We will all miss you.
