Barry was born July 21, 1957, in Pottstown, PA to the late George and Elizabeth (Pfingsten) Shultz.
He was self-employed in the computer, E-Commerce business for many years.
Barry loved the water, and enjoyed crabbing, clamming, and boating. He also liked metal detecting, and collecting coins.
Barry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan (Laperle) Shultz; 2 children: Kirk Shultz of Dover and Cris Rhoads of Harrington; his siblings: Tina Ravel of West Palm Beach, Florida; Allan Shultz of Hobe Sound, Florida; Robert Shultz of Reading, PA; Carol Maynard of Denver, PA; and Jeffrey Shultz of Reading, PA; his granddaughter, Taryn Rhoads of Harrington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Barry's life was held in his home.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Dr., Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
