Bernardo Bertolucci Obituary
His films frequently explored themes of sexuality and psychology while featuring rich cinematography. He worked with several Hollywood stars, including Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, and Keanu Reeves, as well as helping to launch Liv Tyler and Eva Green to stardom.
He was married to British screenwriter and director Clare Peploe from 1979 until his death.

The first Bertolucci film I viewed was Novecento (meaning "1900") while I was living in Firenze. What a film. Still haunts me. Thank you for being such a great director. And sympathies to the family and friends.

His films, "The Last Tango in Paris", and "The Last Emperor" are among my favorites. Although he was taken much too soon, his amazing body of work will remain as his lasting legacy. Bernardo Bertolucci will always be remembered fondly. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy and will be truly missed. But though he will be missed, we are not without hope because at Acts 17:31, Jehovah God has promised us that he will resurrect Bernardo. Continue to endure with that promise and the hope that only Jehovah God can provide
