Bertha Cammauf Obituary


Mrs. Bertha P. (Spuhler) Rienecker Cammauf, 98, of

Kenhorst, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at

Saint Joseph's Hospital in Bern Twp. She was the widow

of Clifford A. Rienecker who died in 1953 and Willard M. Cammauf who died in 2007.

Born in Lower Alsace Twp., she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Lillian M. (Kiedeisch) Spuhler.

Bertha attended Mt. Penn High School.

She was the owner and operator of the former Rienecker Grocery Store in Kenhorst. She retired as a Secretary from Carpenter Technology. She was a member of NARFE, Berks Encore, and Stuyvesant Senior Center. She was also a member of Epler U.C.C. in Bern Twp.

Surviving are a daughter, Ernestine A. (Rienecker) Krick of Reading, widow of Richard Krick; a son, Carl A. Rienecker of Reading; a step-daughter, Dianne L. (Cammauf), wife of Anthony Izbicki, of Oley; a step-son, Bruce D., husband of Elaine F. Cammauf, of Mohrsville; three grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one grandchild; and a brother, Albert W. Spuhler.

There will be no formal funeral service. Friends and

relatives, celebrate her life as you see fit.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., of Mohnton.
