Her husband, David Duane Beitmen, died in 2000. Born March 25, 1923 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late William Roy and Alene (Hepner) Geise.
She was a graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg.
Caroline was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed painting, and led a singing group at Country Meadows.
She is survived by her three children: Terrie A. Grove, Wernersville; Cindy M. Beitmen, Richmond, CA; and Duane G., husband of Rhonda Beitmen, Royal Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving are her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Caroline was predeceased by her brother, George Geise.
Graveside services will be private in Stone Valley
Cemetery, Dalmatia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the
Salvation Army, 301 S. 5th St., Reading, PA 19602. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.

We are sincerely sorry to hear of the passing of Caroline. We hope you will find peace and strength in your faith, family and friends at this time of loss.
Would a member of the family at a later time please REGISTER Caroline so she will also be honored and remembered in the HISTORICAL PRESERVATION RECORD of those who attended JOHN HARRIS HIGH SCHOOL, as she was a cherished member of the JUNE graduating Class of 1940.

So sorry for your loss. I loved the stories my mother (Wilma "Sis" Yungel) would tell about Caroline and Virginia Schuman when they were kids living in Harrisburg back in the 1920's.
