Charles Epler Obituary


Charles R. Epler, 69, of Holiday, FL, passed away on October 19th at the Gulfside Hospice where he was a resident since October 14th. Born in Reading, he was the son of Paul and Mabel Epler.

Charles was the husband of Doris (Loiselle) Epler for 50 years.

He worked at Firestone Tire & Rubber until its closing in 1982. In 1984 he moved to Florida, where he was self-employed until retiring in 2007.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; sons, Jason and Todd, both of Florida; and a brother, Jack, husband of Regina (Shaefer), of Laureldale.

He was predeceased by a brother, James, and a sister, Emily.

I was proud to call Charlie my friend although the years and miles had us separated. We shared many great child hood memories and adult laughs and times. God bless and keep his children and Loving wife safe and secure.. Will remember him and the Epler Family Always.
