Sorry for your loss of your father. Charlie was know as my Kissin' Cousin to our family. He always greeted you with a hug and a kiss. He told me he enjoyed being part of the Haag family. He was a very intelligent man. He was very welcomed to the Haags as if he was part of the family when him and Sissy starting dating. May God keep you and bless you.

What a great guy, I had Mr. Matters for a carpenter shop teacher back in 1962-63-64 at Lebanon High School. What a guy, and if you messed up, he had the right tool to put you in your place. RIP Charlie, you were one of a kind, tops in my book and you taught us well

I got to know and work with Charlie when I was the assistant superintendent of the Muhlenberg School District in the 1980s. Charlie deserves a lot of credit for bringing the RMCTC into existence and managing it well for the next two decades. Charlie was a great guy, very direct in dealing with us---you always knew where Charlie stood on the issues. His first concern was always the welfare of his students and the capabilities of his staff.
Charlie even did some carpentry work at my family home in Schuylkill County after he retired. The folks loved meeting him and enjoyed his stories.
Rest quietly my friend. As a fellow veteran, thank you for your service.

Charlie was like a favorite uncle, although he was actually my cousin Sissy's husband. What a fun and accomplished man he was. Both my wife, Cindy and I have great memories of Charlie. My brother-in law even learned electrical skills working for Charlie over the summers while building houses when in high school. He will be missed, RIP.
