Christopher P. Witthaut

Christopher P. Witthaut Christopher P. Witthaut, 57, of Exeter Township, passed peacefully December 21st in Reading Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of Sheila A. (Mervine) Witthaut. Born in Cleveland, Ohio he was the son of Renate (Carl) and the late Horst Witthaut. Christopher was a mechanical engineer and last worked at Birdsboro Extrusions (Deringer-Ney). He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of several local clubs and organizations including, VFW, Pagoda Motorcycle Club, Reading Liederkranz, Reading Company Boosters, Lower Alsace Beneficial Assoc, Reading Motorcycle Club, Neversink Gun Club, Friendship Fire Company Social Quarters and Stonersville Social Club. In addition to his spouse and mother he is survived by a daughter, Alison Witthaut and son, Christopher R. Witthaut and three siblings (Stephanie, Susanna and Markus). Also, his nieces and nephew (Gianna, Margaux, Jennifer, Amanda, and Torsten). A celebration of life will be held at a later date, all that know him will be welcome.
