Cletus was married to the late Marilyn C. Reed, who passed away November 1, 2014. Born in Jefferson Twp., he was the son of the late George and Mary (Reed) Reed.
He served in the Merchant Marines and was employed by Reading Container for many years.
Surviving is a brother, Stanley Reed, and wife, Jane of Bernville.
He is predeceased by a brother, John R. Reed, and survived by John's wife, Irene Reed of Bernville.
There are several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will he held on Wednesday, December 10th at 10:30 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with Rev. Robert Argot officiating. Interment will follow in Haags Cemetery in Bernville.
