Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., where he was a patient since Saturday. He was the husband of Katy L. (Conrad) Barlet, Muhlenberg Twp.
Born in West Reading, Clifford was a son of Beatrice H. (Arndt) Barlet, with whom he resided, and the late Lester W. Barlet Sr.
Mr. Barlet attended Praise Christian Fellowship Church, Blandon.
Clifford first worked as a Cabinet Maker for QuakerMaid Kitchens, Reading; then as a retail manager for Rawlings Sporting Goods Factory Store, VF Outlet Center, Wyomissing.
Cliff enjoyed hunting, was an avid artist who loved to draw and was a skilled woodworker. He also loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Katy; and mother,
Beatrice, Clifford is survived by his two sons, Tad K.,
husband of Amanda L. (Gilbert) Barlet, Shoemakersville; and Alex T. Barlet, companion of Kelly L. Grumbine,
Hamburg; three sisters: Cindy L. (Barlet), wife of Bryan C. Sprecher, Kutztown; Judith D. (Barlet), wife of Ricky W. Strausser, Hamburg; Dawn M. (Barlet), wife of Jeffrey H. Wengert, Fleetwood; two brothers, Lester W. Jr., husband of Tammy L. (Drupp) Barlet, Fleetwood; and Michael A. Barlet, Temple. There are also two grandchildren, Kendra L. Barlet and Hunter M. Barlet; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Lester Sr., Clifford was
predeceased by a nephew, Jared W. Barlet.
Services: The family will host a memorial service to
celebrate Cliff's life on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Praise Christian Fellowship Church, 323 June Ave.,
Blandon, with Pastor Steve Graybill, officiating.
Inurnment will follow in Berks County Memorial
Gardens, Fleetwood.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church.
