She was the wife of Stephen A. Krupa Jr. Born in Portland, Ore., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rhea (Corcoran) Baum.
She was a graduate of Oregon State University.
Colleen was employed by the Wyomissing Area High School as a secretary to the Librarian.
She was an active member and volunteer of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Colleen was a member and chairperson of the Sunshine Committee of the Newcomers' Club of Greater Reading.
She was a wonderful, dedicated wife, mother and
grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four
children: Mark J. Krupa, Osteen, Fla.; Ronald S., husband of Paula Krupa, Bradenton, Fla.; Susan M., wife of Ned Kotula, Wyomissing; and Eric R., husband of Melissa Krupa, Safety Harbor, Fla.; one brother, Greg H., husband of Nita Baum, Portland, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday,
August 12, 2016
, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 701 Franklin St., West Reading. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may callThursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.

Colleen was a very welcoming woman to both adults and children in the school library. She was an asset to the district as an employee and as a parent. Prayers are with her family as they deal with this loss.
