Cora was the wife of Benedicto M. Nacar. Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Macaria (Guerrero) Quilala.
She received her teaching degree in the Philippines, where she taught first and second grade, before moving to the United States with her family in 1967.
She moved with her family from Sewickley, PA, to Berks County in 1972.
She worked in the offices of the former American Bank & Trust in Reading for 19 years.
Cora was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Exeter Township.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Alexander Q. Nacar, husband of Suzanne (Ewing) Nacar, of Cranston, Rhode Island; Elizabeth Q. Nacar of Providence, Rhode Island; and May F. "Mimi" Kominick, wife of Burton F. "Rick" Kominick Jr., of Exeter Township; along with her grandchildren: Benjamin E. Nacar, Sylvia E. Nacar, James R. Kominick, Brian D. Kominick and Caroline M. Kominick.
Cora is also survived by her sister, Natividad Q. Pablo, of the Philippines.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Monsignor Edward R. Domin, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
