Curt William Boyer, 60, passed away in his Laureldale home on October 10, 2021. He was the husband of Emily L. (Haas) Boyer, whom he married May 2, 1981. Born August 7, 1961 in Reading, PA., he was a son of Robert W. Boyer of Reading and the late Carol Ann (Haddock) Boyer. Curt was a 1979 graduate of Reading High School. He was employed 37 years with Carpenter Technology, Reading, retiring in 2016 as a maintenance manager. After retiring from Carpenter Technology, Curt began employment as a salesman with Excel Hydraulics, Gilbertsville, last working Friday. He loved traveling with his wife, family and friends and especially enjoyed deep sea fishing in Key West, Florida. Curt is also survived by two daughters: Megan C. (Boyer), wife of Brett M. Fegely and Crysten C. (Boyer) Campbell, wife of Brian L. Thomason, all of Spring Township. Other survivors include four grandchildren: June E. Fegely, Booker M. Fegely, Gianno A. Campbell, Harper L. Thomason, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his fifth grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Beth Ann Huey (1965-2011). Several nieces and nephews also survive him; Barry L. Huey III, Brittany B. (Huey) Sustala; Brianne E. Huey, Christopher Long, Casey Long, and Corey Long. Services were held privately. I don't even know where to begin. Curt was an amazing, considerate, kind and loving man. He was my go to man for pretzels and dip from Unique Pretzels. He was my confidant at work as well as my "work" husband since we share the same last name. We got quite a few laughs over that one. I will miss him forever as he touched not just my life but everyone here at Excel. When I hear a Kansas song, I will think about him, hopefully with a smile and a tear. Emily, I am so sorry for your loss. I am here should you ever need a shoulder to cry on.

He could always be counted on to find a way to get the job done whether it was preventing or responding to a breakdown, or making sure we delivered a proper thank you to his crew for another beyond-the-call effort.
