Daniel Desrosiers Obituary
Daniel John Desrosiers, 21, of Kutztown, died unexpectedly March 22, 2014 in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, shortly after admission.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of John B. "Leo" III and Deborah S. (Sherry) Desrosiers, with whom he
resided.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. Daniel was a 2010 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. He attended both Berks Technical Institute and Penn State University - Berks Campus. Daniel was employed as a supervisor at Herman's Drive-In, Topton, for the past seven years. He also worked as a bellhop at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, Macungie for the past year. He loved playing video games and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Bradley H. Desrosiers, at home; and half-sister, Kristy R. Desrosiers, Laurys Station, Lehigh County. Other survivors include maternal grandparents, Richard O. and Donna L. (Klahr) Sherry, Kutztown; paternal grandparents, Lucille (Cunningham) Desrosiers, a resident at Cedarbrook, Allentown and the late John B. Desrosiers Jr. There is also an aunt and uncle, Cynthia S. (Sherry) and Gary O. Cook, and cousins Brian R. and Brandon T. Cook, all of Absecon, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Scott A. Staub and Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday evening 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Daniel John Desrosiers Memorial Fund, c/o Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., P.O. Box 292, Kutztown, PA 19530-0292. Online condolences may be recorded at www.ludwickfh.com.

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your son Daniel. We are just people who have been coming to Hermans for the last 20 years and learned of this tragedy just the other day. To the family of young Daniel Desrosiers. We have never met but my heart breaks especially for his parents as you go through this difficult time of mourning the loss of your precious child:( I can not imagine how you feel at this time and how hard it must be for you, for I am A Mother of 2 children age 17 and 29 and it breaks my heart for anyone to have to bear such a Loss of their Child. In the 1970's my Sister used to work at Hermans for Harry and we know The Herman Family and always Loved the Hermans drive in and I am sure Daniel will be greatly missed by all of the friends and Customers that knew and Loved him.
