Daniel Konik Obituary

Daniel L. Konik, 83, of Wyomissing, formerly of Reading, passed away Sunday, May 21st, at Highlands at Wyomissing. Daniel was born in Reading on September 19, 1939, a son of the late Victoria (Marciniak) and Stanley Konik and was the widower of Catharine A. Konik, who passed away in 2019. He worked as Group Leader of Mechanical Testing at Carpenter Technology, Reading for over 50 years. He won the award for longest standing employee. Daniel was an avid musician and played the saxophone with his band, the Danny Lawrence Trio. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Julie A. Konik, wife of Christine Smith, of Sheboygan, WI. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Anthony Konik and sisters, Josephine Konik Sandler and Julia Konik Gilbert. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
