He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Rollman) Lambert. Born in Independence, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Edgel and Madge (Squires) Lambert.
Daniel was a Superintendent for many Construction Companies over his career, most notably in Philadelphia area operating heavy equipment.
He served as an elder in the Reading North Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was predeceased by 5 brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two sons, Dan J., husband of Karen Lambert, Temple, Pa., Timothy W., husband of Patricia Lambert, Kutztown, Pa.; one daughter, Kathy A., wife of Rick Macdonough, Muhlenberg Twp.; two brothers, Paul, husband of Bernice Lambert, Marriot, Ohio, Blake, husband of Rita Lambert, West Virginia; two sisters, Emma Lose, Morgantown, West Virginia, Helen, wife of Darryl Bosley, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Leesport Famers Market on July 17th at 4:00 p.m. for all wishing to attend. Interment will be private.
