I just learned that Dan had passed. I am very saddened. Growing up down the street from Dan, I recall how helpful and happy he always was. Always ready to help a neighbor! Our sympathy to his father, Ron, as well as his brothers Matt and Ed, who were also always there to help a neighbor in need.

With great sympathy from the Funk family. When we moved to Huffs Church Dan was a thoughtful neighbor. We enjoyed chatting with him in the gardens and the greenhouse and think of him often especially in the garden season.

Dear Solt Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. His love of horticulture came to my rescue so many times and I learned alot because of this. We can only remind ourselves that someday we will be united with those we have loved and lost.

We are very sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was a man with a caring heart and a soul to match. When Josh and Jenna were little ones, Dan would stop by every Halloween with 2 pumpkins and stayed for hours helping them carve. He enjoyed children. Your friends will miss you Dan. Be at peace my friend.
