David Allen Frantz

David Allan Frantz David Allan Frantz, 67, of Reading, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 in the care of Reading Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Reading, he was a son of Earl L. and Eleanor T. (Shuman) Frantz. For the last 15 years, David has shared a home and custody of his beloved pups with his companion, Tina Hollidge. David graduated from Reading High School ‘70 and graduated with his technical Associate’s from Reider School of Technology, now know as Lincoln Tech. A hard working man, David enjoyed his 47 years at Carpenter Tech, repeatedly delaying his retirement. A friendly and generous man, David cared deeply for his community and volunteered as a fireman and hazmat responder. In addition to his parents and Tina, David is survived by his brother Thomas Frantz (Debra L. Frantz) of Reading, his sister Deborah Frantz (Andrew Snyder) of Allentown, two nephews, and one niece. He was predeceased by his brother, Glenn Michael Frantz, who is survived by his widow, Karen Frantz of Bernville. A memorial service for David will be announced at a later date.
