Born Nov. 9, 1960, in West Reading, he was a son of Franklin B. Walk Jr., with whom he resided, and the late Carol Fay (Reifsnyder) Walk, who died Jan. 15, 1969.
He worked as a carpenter and painter for various contractors in the area, last working in 2006.
He was a 1978 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School where he participated in soccer and wrestling.
He was an Army veteran.
Dave was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed going to farmers markets and was interested in news and current events.
Surviving in addition to his father are two brothers, Vincent A. Walk and James B. Walk, both at home.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes Inc., 25 E. Weis St., Topton, with the Rev. Arthur L. Hahn officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley. Friends may call Sunday 7 to 8:30 p.m.

It has been many years since I last saw Dave, and sadly just heard of his untimely passing. He was a great person and we had many wonderful times together. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Dave. God Bless You and Rest in Peace.

Just heard the sad news. It was years since I have seen Dave, but there was a time when we spent a lot of time together. Dave had a good heart, always had a smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. God Bless and Rest in pleace.
