David Westenhoefer Obituary

David R. Westenhoefer David R. Westenhoefer, formerly from Kempton, PA, died on Sunday Dec. 6th at The Legacy House Hospice, Ocala, Florida. He had lived in the Kutztown and Kempton, PA areas for many years. David graduated from the Lehigh County Vocational Technical school in 1976. He was self-employed as a carpenter/cabinet maker for many years, often working with family members on a variety of new and existing home projects. He was the owner of Mica-made Custom Cabinetry and Furniture in Wescosville. He was a skilled craftsman; his handy-work can be seen in multiple structures around the Lehigh Valley region. David was a kind-hearted lover of animals, and kept a variety of pets such as foxes, ferrets, parrots, raccoons and cats. He was born in 1958 in Sea Girt, NJ., He was the fifth child of the late Margaret and William Westenhoefer, both deceased, of Kutztown. Survivors: Son Brandon, of New York, brother Bryan Westenhoefer and his wife Judy, of Kutztown PA, sisters Barbara Rossnagel and her husband Jim of Collegeville, PA, and Marda Smith of Pennsburg, PA. He is predeceased by his brother Mark. David is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A private Memorial gathering will be held in Summer 2021. Please make any contributions in David’s name to your local animal shelters or Hospice facilities.

Brandon, Barbie, Marda, and Bryan,
