Devin Spence Obituary

Devin C. Spence, 25, of Boyertown, went into the arms of his LORD on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Born in Reading, he was the son of Joan L. (Blankenbiller) and Jeffrey C. Spence of Boyertown.

Devin was a 2010 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and received his BS in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University in 2014.

He worked for QMES Montgomery Medical Equipment in Oaks as an order confirmation specialist.

He was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown, where he was a member of the Senior Choir. Devin was an avid gamer who was quickly able to master many games at the same time. He enjoyed Airsoft Sport with his friends. Devin was a lifelong Eagles fan and loved playing the cello, soccer and tennis. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, especially playing hide and seek with them. Devin also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Marley, "MarMar," but his greatest love was the LORD.

Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother, Shaun J. Spence, husband of Andrea M. of Spring City; one sister, Jaclyn M., wife of Alex Moyer of Gilbertsville; two nieces, Kaley and Emalyn; two nephews, Colton and Luca; one paternal grandmother, Colleen T. Spence, widow of Carl L. of Boyertown; one maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Blankenbiller, widow of Edgar of Barto; and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 35 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, Pa. There will be no viewing. Relatives and friends will be received from 9-11 a.m. Friday morning at the church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
