Dora Stephens Obituary

Dora D. (Kunkle) Stephens, 90, of Mohnton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.

She was born in Allentown and was the wife of the late Richard W. Stephens Sr., who passed away in 2001.

Dora was a faithful member of the Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville, where she was a Sunday School teacher and a choir member.

She enjoyed visiting her cabin in the mountains and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Barry Stephens, with whom she resided; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard "Butch" W. Stephens Jr., in 2008.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Mennonite Church, 1194 Reading Road, Bowmansville. Funeral services will follow, with Pastor Jonathan E. Yoder officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
