An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he received the Purple Heart and numerous campaign ribbons and decorations. Earl worked 33 years for Dana as a welder, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of the Womelsdorf Fire Co., the
Womelsdorf Rod and Gun, and a life member of the Max Schaeffer Post 6558 VFW, Womelsdorf. He also liked to fish, hunt, shoot pool and go boating.
He is survived by his children: Lloyd Rose, husband of Vivian Rose, Robesonia; Michael Pack, DesMoines, Iowa; David Pack, Robesonia; Earl Pack Jr., husband of Dale-Marie Pack, Womelsdorf; Patricia Griffith, Wernersville; Penny Grubb, Reinholds; and Timothy Pack, husband of Mike McFerren, Robesonia; his siblings: Russel Pack, Idaho; Schuba Grimes and Polly Pack, both of Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
He was predeceased by 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and a grandson, Joseph Pack.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday, April 8, 2017, from noon - 2 p.m. at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf. www.mullfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Earl's memory may be made to Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center, 1 Reading Dr., Wernersville, PA 19565.
