Eileen Doleniak Obituary

Eileen E. (Bailey) Doleniak Fare you well my honey Fare you well my only true one All the birds that were singing Have flown except you alone Eileen E. (Bailey) Doleniak, 52, of Reading, lost a two year battle with cancer early in the morning of December 21, 2020. Eileen was born in Reading on August 15, 1968, to Ruth (Yourkawitch) and Morris V. Bailey; she was the youngest of their four children. She graduated from Reading High School in 1986 and remained a loyal Red Knight the rest of her years. She would go on to work as a paraprofessional in the Reading School District at various grade levels for many years, retiring in 2012. She also supported Red Knight athletics and attended countless games over the years. She is survived by her spouse and soulmate, Keith, to whom she was married for 31 beautiful years. She is also survived by her daughters, Jessica, married to Seth Bender, of Exeter and Kayci, married to Raymond Doleniak, of Cumru township. Also survived by five grandchildren, who she loved more than anything: Kira, Jaxin, Kian, Emilia, and Harper. Eileen is also survived by her sisters Christine Eppler and Kathleen Hatt, sisters in law Debra Doleniak and Rose Whalen, and mother in law Marcia Doleniak. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Ruth and Morris Bailey, as well as her brother, David Bailey, and father-in-law Arthur Doleniak. Eileen was a dedicated wife, an exceptional mother, and a gifted crafter. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible surrounded by loved ones. She loved trips to the beach and often called it her happy place. Her favorite trip was her bucket list visit to Europe when she was able to eat lunch under the Eiffel Tower. In life, Eileen was a strong advocate for human rights. She believed women’s rights were human rights, Black Lives Matter, science is real, love is love, and no human is illegal. In lieu of flowers, we request that you stand up for these things as well. There will be no viewing, or service, as requested. A celebration of life will be planned at a safer time. The Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 North 11th St., Reading, is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.sandersfuneral.com. Eileen, I have many loving memories of all the times we shared together. From the time you were a little girl and we played together, and the many memories we made growing up. All of the many family gatherings, going for walks, sharing sewing ideas, and having coffee together at your kitchen table. I will always smile when I think of you, and you will be dearly missed. My hope is that you are now in the presence of God, in perfect Love and perfect Peace. I love you little sister.
