Fern Borrell Obituary


Fern A. (Sweitzer) Borrell, Reading, died Jan. 7, 2010, in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading.

Ms. Borrell was born in Shillington on July 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Earl and Eva (Koch) Sweitzer. She was 84.

Ms. Borrell worked as an auditing clerk at Boscov's for many years.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Reading.

Ms. Borrell was the mother of Beverly Kreiser, Allentown; and Stanford A. Borrell, Reading.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Clifford G. Borrell; and by her brother, Clarence Sweitzer.

Services and burial will be private.

Condolences may be expressed at www.ruggierofh.com. Arrangements are by the Ruggiero Funeral Home, Trappe.
