Floyd Fajna Obituary
Floyd C. Fajna Sr., 69, of Leesport, died Tuesday,
January 14, 2014 in his
residence.
He was the husband of Darlene M. (Schlenker) Fajna. Born in Emporia, Greenville Co., Virginia, he was the son of the late
William J. Sr. and Kathryn A. (Reigel) Fajna; and
stepson of the late Pearl S. (Wrenn) Fajna.
Floyd worked for thirty-five years as a maintenance mechanic for the former Construction Fasteners, now SFS Intec., Wyomissing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Floyd C. Fajna Jr., Lawrenceville, VA; and Christopher F. Fajna, Leesport; and one daughter, Kerrie A. Schappell, fianceé of John Kovach, Brockton.
He is also survived by eight brothers: Albert "Sonny" Fajna, Shoemakersville; Wayne Fajna, Emporia; William "Jess" Fajna, Reading; Charles "Danny" Fajna, Roanoke Rapids, NC; Joseph "Teddy" Fajna, Gasburg, VA; Robert "Tony" Fajna, Mohrsville; Carl "Carly" Fajna, and Richard "Ricky" Fajna, both of Lawrenceville.
Floyd was predeceased by a brother, James "Rusty" Fajna.
Services will be held
today, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. from Leibensperger
Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport.
Burial will follow in Gernant's Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home today 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533 to assist the family with final expenses.
