She was the wife of the late Carl R. Sylanski.
She was born in Kempton, a daughter of the late Philip James and Mantana Celeste ( Kunkel) Kuhn.
Now in heaven with her husband, they were the former owners of Sylanski's Bar and Restaurant, West Dauphin Street, Phila.
She was an avid Phillies fan, but also cheered on the Eagles, the Polish American Mummers and F.O.P. Phila. Lodge #5.
Survivors includes nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Fern (Kuhn) Graff, Gordon Kuhn, Karl Kuhn, Virgie (Kuhn) Schroeder, and Evadia (Rauch) Rohrbach.
Services, Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Phila, PA.
