Helen Seifrit Obituary

Helen Ruth (Myers) Seifrit Helen Ruth (Myers) Seifrit, 98, formerly of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the Berks County Home Berks Heim. Born in Baumstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late LaVerne and Mary (Hamilton) Myers. She was the widow of George L. Seifrit who passed in 1999. Helen was a sewing machine operator for the former Albright Underclothing in Birdsboro, PA. She enjoyed sewing her entire life, even sewing American Girl Doll clothing until she was 95 yrs. old. She graduated from Birdsboro High School, Class of 1940. Surviving Helen are: 2 daughters: Suzanne M. Ruppert, wife of Jacob of Birdsboro, PA and Elaine L. Feick, wife of Nelson of Birdsboro, PA; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her son: Robert L. Seifrit; 2 brothers: William and Wayne Myers; and a sister: Adeline Garber. Services will be private at the convenience of the family at this time. Helen’s family would like to express their appreciation for the nurses and staff at Berks Heim for taking great care of Helen over the years. Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. Birdsboro, PA is in charge of arrangements.
