Jan L. Peoples

Jan L. Peoples, 69, of Reading, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022. Born in Abington to the late Harry and Leona (Weichenmaier) Peoples, Jan was a graduate of Central Catholic HS and RACC. Jan worked for the IBEW Local 743. Her Catholic faith was very precious to Jan. She was a member of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, her Cursillo Saturday morning prayer group, and St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. Her memory is treasured by her cousin Linda Erber; Linda’s daughter, Rachel Newton; Rachel’s children, Quincy, Vidal, and Haley; Linda’s son, Rainer Erber; Rainer’s children Matthew, Brianna and Kirsten; her cousin Jackie Eckert; and many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Catharine of Siena Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave., with committal to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd.
