Janet Rimby

Janet E. (Rea) Rimby, 85, died September 12 at Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. She resided at Berkshire Center and Berkshire Commons since March.

Born March 20, 1930, in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Margaret A. (Clark) Rea.

She graduated from Birdsboro High School in 1948.

She was the widow of Richard H. Rimby, who died July 2, 2006. They were married for 54 years and lived in Exeter Township.

Janet was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Birdsboro, and Bird Chapter #460, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son, Craig R. Rimby, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a daughter, Lori (Rimby) Pujol, wife of Marlon P. Pujol, Silver Spring, MD. There are also two grandchildren, Courtney R. and Colette L. Pujol, Silver Spring, MD.

Other survivors include a sister, Doris, wife of Franklin Clouser, Birdsboro, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and a sister-in-law.

Another sister, Marcella Eisenbise, predeceased her in 2013.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 22, at 11:00 a.m., at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, the Rev. Joseph Motz, officiating. Viewing will precede the services, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Birdsboro Cemetery, Union Township.
