Jean Fetterolf Obituary

Jean Ann Fetterolf, born on August 30, 1945, in Reading, PA, peacefully departed this life on November 10, 2023. She married the love of her life, Gary Fetterolf, on April 24, 1965, and together they built a life filled with love and family. Jean, the daughter of Daniel and Pearl Werley, graduated from Hamburg High School in 1963. The Fetterolf family initially resided in Reading, PA, and later Birdsboro, PA, where Jean dedicated her career to Mrs. Smith's Pies. In 1990, they embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Sherman, Texas, where Jean became an integral part of the KMart family until her retirement. Not one to rest, she pursued her Associates Degree, proudly graduating from Grayson College. An unwavering Steelers fan, Jean found joy in cheering for her team and adored her Boston Terriers. Jean was a member of Trinity Lutheran in Sherman, Texas. She is survived by her children: Son, Rodney Fetterolf & wife Debbie of Rhome, Texas; Daughter Sheila Mariano & Darrell Rickerson of Sherman, Texas; and Son, Bill Fetterolf & wife Crystal of Sherman, Texas. Jean's memory lives on through her 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nephews, and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Fetterolf, her parents Daniel and Pearl Werley, sister Janice Care, and grandchildren Kelsey Fetterolf and Chandler Fetterolf. Visitation will be held at Waldo Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 15th, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside services and burial are scheduled for Saturday, November 18th, at 1:00 PM at Berks County Memorial Gardens in Fleetwood, PA. Arrangements are under the compassionate care of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX, and Dengler Funeral Home in Birdsboro, PA. May Jean rest in eternal peace.
