He was the husband of Sheryle L. (Long) Fisher, Muhlenberg Township.
Born Oct. 24, 1950, in Reading, John was a son of the late Donald F. and Betty J. (Cheeseman) Fisher.
He was employed by Alcon Laboratories, Sinking Spring, where he worked as a computer numeric control machinist for 17 years, last working Friday.
John was a member of Central Fire Company, Laureldale, Alsace Manor Fire Company and Meadowbrook Country Club.
He also is survived by a daughter, Stacey L. (Fisher), wife of Wayne Nissley, Hellam; a stepdaughter, Jennifer M., wife of Michael Phillips, Shillington; and a stepson, Zachary, husband of Crystal Ziolkowski, West Lawn.
Other survivors include a grandson, Damien Seidt; and nine step-grandchildren: Wayne Nissley Jr., Amy Nissley, Justin Nissley, Shania Bonsall, Jerry Ziolkowski II, Kayla Franco, Nicholas Franco, Patience Delong and Donovan Phillips.
Memorial services will be Saturday at noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Visitation will be Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.
