Disease. Born in Reading, PA, John is
preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Faye Heffner (Hoffman).
He is survived by his father, William E. Heffner Sr. of Tucson; brother, William E. Heffner Jr., of Harrisburg, PA; and sister, Earleen M. Fick of Tucson.
John attended Special Ed classes at the Lorane Elementary School in Exeter Township, PA. He also attended summer camp at Camp Jolly in Reading.
He grew up on the family farm run by his parents in Berks County, where in his earlier years, he was joyful as he ran and interacted with all of the animals and helped as he was able to do chores. This life was his love and inspiration.
Upon the death of his mother on October 6, 2011, John and his father moved to Tucson, making their new home there with his sister.
It is said they are angels who come here to bring us love and John was certainly a very bright light to all who
connected with him in that love. He is sadly missed.
A celebration of John's life will be held Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85710.

Sorry I lost track of you after Shirley's passing ,I always enjoyed visits with John ,he especially enjoyed coming to the cattle sale at Leesport . You are in our prayers as you are missing John he will leave a giant hole in all our hearts . Thank you for hosting the get togethers at your home for the auction staff . I bet Ralph is entertaining John with his auction chant in Heaven as Leroy chases cattle for the sale . Love to you all . The clerk ,TOOTIE
