My sympathy to the entire Jordan family for their loss. I never spoke to Joe or any of his brothers, but I listened and danced to their music at the Spot in Minersville and other venues whilst home from college in the early '60s. Thanks for the memories, Joe.

My condolences to the family. Jordan Brothers entertained us for MANY, MANY years! "'83 Rollerama" and "The Lake!" A wonderful group of brothers! Makes one remember the good old days!

REST IN PEACE JOSEPH. I REMEMBER SEEING THE BAND AT THE LAKE IN THE 1960S AND AT HUGOS IN THE 1970S.

Another piece of my life... gone. I can't begin to tell you how many Friday and Saturday nights I braved any weather to get to Willow Lake from Reading. It didn't matter how I got there... I got there. I remember hitchhiking over a lonely mountain pass at 2:00a.m. trying to get back home. I remember sitting 'shotgun' in a buddy's car with inoperable windshield wipers... with washline tied to the wipers, in through the wing windows, and pulled back and forth by me for the seventy miles to and from 'The Lake'. I remember a night that was so foggy that I had to drive over that mountain at slow speed with the door open enough to look down and follow the white lines. There was virtually nothing I wouldn't do to get to dance to the Jordan Brothers. Rest in peace Joe.

I haven't been back home in some time. Prior to joining the Navy in 1965 The Jordan Brothers were THEE band and for a long time after. Joe was a fantastic guy and I never remember one time when he wouldn't stand and have a discussion for a few minutes along with Bob, Frank, Louie and Pop. What a great bunch of guys to have known. I now live in Atlanta, but if I were home I would be there. In my thoughts. John

My deepest sympathy to his family. My sisters and I went every week to see the Jordan Brothers play at "The Lake" as we called it, back in the 60's. Such great memories. They were the best band ever! RIP Joe Jordan.
