She was the wife of Michael E. Danowski.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of David J. Jr. and Kathleen H. (Hubbard) Wentling, Reiffton.
She was a member of St. Joseph RCC, Reading, and a graduate of Exeter High School in 1975.
Kathleen was a longtime county employee, starting in 1992. She last worked for District Judge David Glass in Birdsboro.
She was a caring and compassionate woman who turned negatives into positives. Her smile would light up a room.
Kathleen enjoyed crafting gifts to give to family and friends during holidays, birthdays or special occasions.
She loved spending her free time in Lewes, Del., with family and friends.
Kathleen was very grateful to all of the County of Berks employees who donated sick and vacation time to her during her illness. She was also thankful for all of the help and support she received from the nurses, staff and doctors at the Reading Hospital's Hematology and Radiation Oncology departments during her illness.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth K. Haas, at home; two brothers, Thomas J. Wentling, husband of MaryNell, Bartlett, Ill.; and Timothy E. Wentling, husband of Melissa, Mount Penn; and a sister, Maryellen, wife of Thomas Fay, Midland, Texas.
She was predeceased by a brother, David J. Wentling III.
Friends may call at the Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Mount Penn, on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy to the Wentling/Danowski family during this very difficult time. Kathy has been part of the Wenger family since I was just a kid. I recall many fun times with Kathy and my Uncle Jerry growing up. She was a very kind person and always fun to be around. I will always remember the wonderful times we shared. The few times I met Kathleen it was easy to see why she made Michael and her daughter very happy. The only way to fill the loss is through all the wonderful memories. G-d bless and live life to it's fullest in honor of her.

I know of no words to take away your loss and pain. May GOD gently guide you through this diffifult time and the days and weeks ahead.
