peacefully in his residence in Reading on
August 2, 2018, after a long battle with
cancer.
He was the loving husband of Debra
Marie (Burke) Siggins, whom he married
October 14, 1989, and enjoyed over 28 years of marriage. Born July 18, 1959, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Fern (Stitzer) Siggins.
He graduated from Reading High School in 1977. For 15 years he worked as a meter reader for UGI. He previously worked for 15 years with Super Value.
An avid sports fan, Kevin closely followed his beloved Reading Red Knights basketball as well as Penn State
football and the Philadelphia Phillies. He enjoyed being outdoors and summer weather. He was a physically active man who exercised and worked out. Kevin also was a
devoted follower of The Who. A social man, he touched so many lives. He also served as his son's coach in baseball, basketball and football through Muhlenberg, impacting many other lives in the community in the process.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Andrew Siggins and Matthew James Siggins.
Also surviving are Kevin's siblings: Richard Siggins, of Reading; Terry L. Siggins, husband of Sandra (Martin) Siggins, of West Reading; and Nancy (Siggins) Crothers, wife of Jonathan Crothers, of Lancaster.
Services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held
Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township, following services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste 550, Chicago IL 60631.
