Kutztown Manor. Born October 1, 1945, in Mertztown, he was a son of the late Elmer T. and Mae E. (Miller) Moyer.
He and his wife of 48 years, Christine L. (Obarow) Moyer, were married on December 23, 1967, at Fleetwood Bible Fellowship Church in Fleetwood.
Larry worked as Superintendent of Contractors for Turner Construction for 17 years. He was also an OSHA
Inspector and had worked for Air Products as a draftsman and designer.
He was a 1964 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and also graduated from the Industrial Management Institute with a degree in engineering.
Larry was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Sinking Spring, and was a master gardener having studied at Longwood Gardens. Most of all, Larry was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was a devoted
Christian that loved the Lord and his family.
In addition to his wife, Christine, Larry is survived by his two children, Elizabeth A. (Moyer) Klein, Flying Hills, and Mark A. Moyer, husband of Barbara (Kantner) Moyer, Alsace Township. He is also survived by his grandchildren: John and Sierra Klein, Benjamin and Sarah Klein, Kaitlin Moyer, Madeline Zerbe, Kyle Zerbe, Erik Moyer, Jessica Zerbe and Allison Zerbe; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin C. Klein and Aurora E. Klein; and his siblings: Sandra, Marilyn, Bonnie, Carol, Gerald, Randy and Lee. He will also be greatly missed by his beloved dog, Foxie.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas, David and Timothy.
A Memorial Service will be held for Larry on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 4891 W. Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Contributions may be made in Larry's memory to the
Benevolence Fund at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church.
