Lucille Massey Obituary
Lucille M. (Godfrey) Massey, 87, formerly of Birdsboro, died on May 10, 2015 at Berks County Home, Berks Heim. Born in Geigertown, Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA, she was the daughter of the late William Godfrey and the late Sarah (McMullen) Godfrey.
Lucille was the widow of the late Harold Raymond Massey.
Lucille provided cleaning services for the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. for many years. She was also a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Birdsboro, PA.
Lucille is survived by 2 sons: Harold A. Massey, husband of Dale L. of Kunkletown, PA; Roger L. Massey, husband of Jodie of Hinesville, GA; 3 daughters: Bettylou Riegner, wife of Donald Sr. of Shinglehouse, PA; Lucille M. Hernandez of Birdsboro, PA; and Kay L., fiancée of John R. Bowen, Jr. of Reading, PA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Lucille was predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister and a daughter, Patricia A. Worrall.
A memorial service will take place at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA 19508 on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home before the service. Inurnment will be held in Birdsboro Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 5 Brooke Manor, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangments.
