Born in Media, PA, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Lenore A. (Hughes) O'Neill.
Michael was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Coatesville and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New Holland.
Michael was a graduate of Garden Spot High School in 1989 where he served as Class V.P. Long live O'Neill appeal.
He was a member of the American Legion in New Holland and the Honey Brook Fire Company where he competed in tug-of-war competitions.
He enjoyed motorcycling, spending time with friends and family, eating bacon, and was a black belt in Tang Soo Do. His infectious smile and kind, warm heart was
contagious to everyone he met.
In addition to his son and daughter, Michael is survived by 6 siblings: Claire Miller, wife of Wolfe, of Morgantown; Constance Dunn, wife of Richard, of Morgantown; Kathleen Murphy of Reamstown; Tricia Monaghan, wife of George, of Birdsboro; Thomas O'Neill, husband of Carla (Castagna), of East Earl; and Shawn O'Neill, husband of Kelly (Radford), of Newmanstown; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Chris Anderson; and his niece, Lauren Hemler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland, PA 17557 with Father Michael Hughes, Michael's uncle, officiating. Interment will be in the Honey Brook U.M.C. Cemetery, 4510
Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, PA 19344. Family and friends are invited to Our Lady of Lourdes Fellowship Hall at 5:30 p.m., following the burial, for a light meal and "Toasting to Mike's Life."
