Myrna Torres Obituary

Myrna Torres, 52, died Oct. 15, 2009, in her Reading residence.

Born in San Turse, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Quinones, N.Y.; and the late Jesus Torres.

Myrna was a true multi-tasker. She held various positions in her career such as receptionist, housekeeper specializing in detail cleaning and she worked in a beauty salon; but above all she was a devoted mother, grandmother and a dear friend to so many.

She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had a deep appreciation and great love for her creator.

Myrna also had an unconditional love for everyone around her. She went above and beyond to make the people she loved happy.

She is survived by her three children: Daniel Bosch III, husband of Heidi Bosch, Wyomissing; Myrna M. Rivera, West Lawn; and Lazara M., wife of David Bortz, West Reading.

Also surviving is her sister, Elizabeth Pacheco, N.Y.

There are seven grandchildren surviving: Nadia, Deizha, Max, Dalila, Tegon, Aliyah and Malacai.

Myrna would have been a great-grandmother to Leander, due in December. Her nieces and nephews, Ramon, John, Wolaida and Tamara, also survive her.

She was predeceased by her sister, Carmen Torres.

Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
