May God's love and peace bring you comfort in the days to come. Myrtle Thorpe's legacy will live on in the thousands of children she touched and influenced with her passion for teaching. She was a wonderful friend and teacher and deeply committed to serving all children at Southeast and Southwest High Schools. She will always be remembered for tapping into her students passions and encouraging them to always do their best. "Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
Far as long as there is memory,
They'll live on in the heart."
Wishing you Hope in the midst of sorrow ,
Comfort in the midst of pain,
With heartfelt sympathy ,

Still loved, still missed and very dear.
