Paul M. Yatron

Judge Paul M. Yatron, 71, of Robesonia, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at the Reading Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Susan E. (Potteiger) Yatron, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Paul, a son of the late Paul P. and Betty J. (Snyder) Yatron, was born in Reading. He is survived by three siblings, William P. Yatron, husband of Loraine L., Annette L., wife of John L. Conlon, and Nicholas H. Yatron, husband of Margaret; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was a 1969 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, a 1973 graduate of Dickinson College and in 1976 received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. Paul was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed trap shooting and was a member of the United Bowmen of Philadelphia. Judge Yatron was an Assistant District Attorney for the Berks County District Attorney's Office and subsequently served as First Deputy in the PA Office of the Attorney General. He also was the Chief Counsel for the PA Auditor General's Office. Judge Yatron was elected to the Court of Common Pleas in 2006. During his term, he also served as President Judge. He was a member of the PA Judicial Criminal Procedure Rules Committee. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W.
