He was the beloved husband of Carol (Kusnierz) Green, to whom he was married for 40 years. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Edwin F. and Mildred (Matthews) Green.
Philip was a 1960 graduate of Exeter High School.
He was a United States Navy veteran.
Philip was employed by the Wilson School District as a bus driver for 10 years.
He was a member of the Blue Mountain Eagle Climbing Club for 42 years.
Philip enjoyed photography and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brian P., husband of Christie J. Green, Laytonsville, MD; and Eric A., husband of Antonio Freitas, Brooklyn, NY. He is also surived by two grandchildren, Timmy and Clark Green; brother, Andy, husband of Leanne Green, Austin, TX.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading.
