Randall Reeser Obituary

Randall S. Reeser Sr., 72, passed away in Sinking Spring on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Wilber and Frances (Earnhardt) Reeser.

Randy was the husband of Susan (Kershner) Reeser to whom he was married on March 21, 1970.

Randy was a 1962 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and as a senior football player, was named 1961 AP All-State Regional Honorable Mention. After high school, Randy attended Arizona State University.

Post-college, he managed Reeser's Sporting Goods and Shirley Mae Embroidery before establishing Reeser's Orvis Shop and RSR Graphics.

He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and sports

enthusiast and served as President of the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited. He enjoyed watching the

Phillies and Eagles.

Randy is survived by his four children: daughters, Lauren, wife of Robert Kovac Jr., and Elizabeth, wife of Peter Munsterteiger; and sons, Randall Jr., husband of Kimberly (Kershner), and Eric, fiance of Jody Sciamanna.

He was the proud "Pop" to his eight grandchildren: Hunter and Kolbie Reeser, Kayley, Payton and Grace Kovac, and John, Owen and Ryan Munsterteiger. He is also survived by his sister, Linda (Reeser) Randell, and her daughter, Meredith.

Randy's proudest moments were spent following his children's and grandchildren's athletic careers and he missed very few of their events. He loved them all very much.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his name to Governor Mifflin Athletic Department, 10 S. Waverly St., Shillington, PA 19607.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Reading Hospital Oncology Department, Heartland Hospice Care and Manor Healthcare of Sinking Spring.

To The Reeser Family
Randy was a member of the Senior Golf League at Green Acres Golf Course. I speak for all the members when I say he was a nice addition to our league and will be missed by all. I enjoyed playing golf with him and getting to know him. He was a great guy. My prayers and sympathy to your family.

A man's life can be measured by the quality of his children. By that measure, Randy led an incredibly successful life. I will miss you my good friend. Thanks for the stories and the laughs.

So sorry to read of Randy's passing. Remembering the times I babysat for your girls back in the late '70s and for your New Year's Eve parties. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed by all! Thoughts and prayers.

Sue,

So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I remember visiting him to purchase softball equipment at Reeser's Sporting Goods.

You obviously had a special bond with Randy and am sure you will miss him. Your children, grandchildren and your memories will help you through these times and bring you comfort and smiles.

Thinking of you,
