Renee Koli Obituary

Renee Patrice Koli, 53, formerly of Spencer, NC, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2016, in Reading, while visiting her mother, Juanita Ali- Smith.

She was born in Youngstown, OH, on June 22, 1962, a daughter of Donald Phillips of Pittsburgh and step-daughter of John Smith of Reading. Renee is also survived by her children: Ciera Ali of Reading; Faheem McIntosh of Spencer, NC; and Dontrusser Bouriemma of NY. There are 12 grandchildren: Nasir, Mya, Cameron, Jazel, Mayleisha, Amonni, Zakiyah, Faheem Jr., Samir, Zayla, Quran and Aniyah. Also surviving are her siblings: Lori Ali of Las Vegas, NV; Emma Ali-Stewart of Reading; Tara Caulker of Charlotte, NC; Curtis Ali of Reading; Abdullah Ali of Reading; and Beatrice Dixon of Reading.

Renee was predeceased by her 2 sisters, Fatima Ali and Alimah Tracy Abdullah.

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 1 p.m., in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A gathering will be Saturday, 12-1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
