He was the husband of Deborah Jane Craft. They recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.
Born in Punxsutawney on Oct. 23, 1946, he was a son of the late Berton F. and Lavania W. (Chapman) Craft.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The University of South Carolina and doctor of medicine degree from Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Craft practiced internal medicine as a group and solo practitioner with Community General Hospital and later Reading Hospital, until he retired in 2002.
Dr. Craft was an aficionado of all things Italian and loved to entertain his friends and family in his home.
Robert is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Craft, and sons, Phillip W. Craft, and his wife, Tracy Ray Craft, Leesport; Christopher Craft, and wife, Katie Marie Craft, Laureldale; and his daughters, Penelope H. Summers, and Jennifer Craft Morgan, and her husband Chad H. Morgan, both of Mebane, N.C.
He is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren: Julia Nichol Craft, Abigail Eli Craft, Lily Jane Morgan and Jackson Harvey Craft.
Also surviving is a brother, Berton Roger Craft, Hershey; and a sister Marilyn (Craft) Myers, Edisto Island, S.C.
Services will be Wednesday at noon in Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood. Public viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, 4301 W. Markham St., Slot 816, Little Rock, AR 72205-9985.

I was reminded to share about Uncle Robert, and I probably shared condolences earlier. I just want to say that I remember Mom's brothers as teasing - in a good way, and as very happy people. They always seemed so happy to see my Mom, and they were loving uncles. Uncle Robert will be remembered as a person with a smile on his face and love in his heart.
