Born in Manatawny Township, Berks County, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Esther C. (Burkert) Fink.
Bob was a volunteer at the Boyertown Salvation Army, as well as a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown; Friendship Hook & Ladder, Boyertown; and Liberty Fire Co., New Berlinville.
Surviving, along with his wife, are sons: Barry Gene Fink, husband of Joanne, of Douglassville; Jay Allen Fink of Greshville, and Dean Edwin Fink, husband of Nancy, of Tampa, FL; grandchildren: Ryan, Megan, Kerby and Ethan Fink; and his sister, Katie Walters.
A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, April 13, 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 35 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to the church at the above address or to Salvation Army of Boyertown, 409 S. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512.

Mr. Fink, as I called him, when I was 8 years old playing for his Giants was a kind and gentle man. Mr. Fink, as I called him, when I was fifty-something still always had time to talk with me whenever we ran into each other. He will be truly missed. Rob Boughter
