Born in Philadelphia on January 18, 1961, he was a son of the late LeRoy Leidy.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 24 years, Bonnie C. (Horning) Leidy, and his children, a daughter, Allison C. Leidy, a student at Penn State University, State College, and a son, Nicholas R. Leidy at home.
Surviving in addition to his wife and children are a sister, Susanne B. (Leidy), wife of George L. Wacker III, his special aunts, Harriett Leidy and Doris M. Leidy, and many other beloved nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob was a 1978 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School and a 1983 graduate of Temple University with a B.S. degree in Marketing.
Bob was employed as a project manager at Air Products & Chemicals in Allentown for 17 years. He was a member of Epler's United Church of Christ, Leesport, and was the secretary of the consistory at the church. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed coaching youth baseball and soccer.
On Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, friends will be received from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Epler's UCC Church, 1151 West Leesport Road, Leesport. The Rev. David R. Bushnell and the Rev. Barry R. Galley will officiate Church Services at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be made in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to a scholarship fund for the children at the Allison and Nicholas Leidy Memorial Fund c/o VIST Financial, P.O. Box 741, Leesport, PA 19533.

We remember Bob from the many hours of volunteering he gave towards Little League Baseball. We've never heard an ill word spoken of him by anyone in the Schuylkill Valley community. We know he will be remembered as a man of great character and will surely be missed.
