Rose L. Zobian

Rose Lucy Zobian Rose Lucy Zobian, 84, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away on February 10, 2022 from complications of dementia. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Melkon “Michael” and Papron “Mary”, and brothers George and Sam Sameulian. She is survived by her four sons and seven grandchildren: Joseph (John, Michael, and Tess), Matthew, Ted (Teddy and Charlie), and David (Benjamin and Jane). She was born and raised in Philadelphia, worked as a school teacher and as an administrative secretary for the US Mint, and married Dr. Edward Zobian, whom she met at church. They moved to Wyomissing in 1973 to raise their family. Wyomissing may remember her wearing yellow headphones while walking her dog and riding her bicycle multiple times a day or buzzing around in a red convertible. She was deeply spiritual, and was a Sunday school teacher, a lover of animals, and had a passion for volunteering. Trained in education at West Chester College (now University) and graduating in three years with Cum Laude honors, she instilled her sons with a love of learning. In her later years, she tutored children and visited local nursing homes to comfort the elderly. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading.
